etribes® Deskbar, produced by Midentity Ltd., is a Windows address book application that enables you to manage your contacts.
Below is a screenshot of the User Interface I designed to update the look and feel, and the overall
user experience.
This is what the interface looked like before the redesign.

The client wanted the interface to be clean and simple with a modern feel. The main problem with the old interface was that there wasn't
any structure within the design. In addition, it was difficult to understand what the various UI functions were. The first step I took towards improving the UI
was to placed a horizontal header with an 'Add Contact' button which replaced the 'Click here to add contact' link. The header always stayed visible even when scrolling.
To add some structure within the interface, I decided to group contacts into rectangular blocks with alternating back-
ground colours. This makes the interface
look more organised and easier for the eye to follow. Finally, the UI icons were redesigned and tooltips included to make their functions more obvious
to the user.

Conceptual design for an mp3 player. The mp3 player will come in a physical and digital form - the idea is that users will have the same experience
whether they're out and about using the physical version, or confined to their home or office using the digital version on their computer.

The problem with employee handbooks in general is they're designed without the end user in mind and as a result, no none usually takes notice of it.
Taking into account Oranges' brand values, this handbook was produced to be visually interesting and in a way that encouraged employees to actually read it.

The design uses fresh imagery to engage the reader. The handbook itself is made from a variety of materials; Polypropylene variant, acetate, tracing paper and various
paper weights. Using these materials gives the handbook depth and makes it unique.

Silent productions Ltd. are a productions company based in London. This is a simple website that I designed and developed for the company. The site was
created using Photoshop, XHTML, CSS and Flash.

A digital calendar concept that's intended to replace traditional print based ones. From my point of view, future digital calendars should integrate well within its surroundings.
They should be looked upon as desired objects for the home or office, just as furniture and deco are. This concept will sync with your local PC or Mac calendar software,
reminding you of important dates and deadlines as well as providing assistance on a variety of topics such as birthday gift ideas.

At the end of each month, the circular face automatically rotates clockwise to reveal the following months dates. The digital calendar's dates are laid out in the same way as most traditional calendars to bridge the gap between old and new. Ideally, this calendar concept will wall-mountable, just like a plasma TV or painting, which will allow its users to proudly display it in their home or office.

Paula Le Dieu, joint Project Director (at the time), was coming to Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication
to talk about the BBC's Creative Archive Project. I was asked to design a poster that would be used to advertise the big event. The actual size of the poster measures
594mm x 841mm (A1).

The is the design for Bank of Ireland's Student Accounts website, produced Aug. '06. The site can be seen at: students.bankofireland.co.uk

A viral campaign spoofing Google Earth that was aimed at students. The frontend was designed by myself and the backend was developed by a colleague. The whole concept can be seen at: univillage.com/earth

A short Flash animation showing the production of a vehicle. Cars are not actually produced in this way - this was merely an experimental Flash exercise. Click
here or the image below to launch the animation.
The screenshot below shows the User Interface for an interactive television programme. The programme
itself provided education and advice about sex and drugs
to teenagers. After the design phase, the interface was
developed using an application called OpenAuthor. Interactivity is activated by pressing the red button on a cable
or satellite remote control.

A collage of past projects; these range from Web / application prototyping using HTML and CSS to graphical interface designs using Photoshop, Illustrator and anything else I can get my hands on.
